Dear NASS members & Friends

I’m Mike Aplet, member #113 of the North American Spitfire Squadron (NASS). I am
writing to invite you to the first ever Northwestern Spit-Together. As you may know,
NASS has hosted regional membership events affectionately known as, Spit-Togethers
for a number of years. Most of these events have been held in the East and Midwest.

However this is about to change. I along with NASS members, Nick Moseley, Saara Kuure, Harold Ross and Dan Aycock have been working behind the scenes to host a Northwestern Spit-Together (NWST07) on July 27-28-29, 2007. The event will be held in Bellevue, Washington (near Seattle). NWST07 will held in conjunction with the Puget Sound Automotive Society’s, 19th Annual, Western Washington, All British Field Meet (WWABFM). WWABFM will host a British car and motorcycle show and swap meet.

On July, 28, NASS members and guests will take a picturesque 48 mile drive through rural back roads along the Snoqualmie river valley. After visiting Snoqualmie Falls, our group will travel to NASS Member , Harold Ross home where Harold and fellow NASS member, Saara Kuure will host a barbeque.

Entry fees for WWABFM show are $30.00 per car entry. The NASS, Spit-Together entry fee is $15.00, The Sunday BYOB Bbq cost is $15.00 per person. The primary lodging site is the Larkspur Landing Hotel in Bellevue. Special arrangements and rates have been negotiated by ABFM. See the lodging page for details.

You must Register for WWABFM separately. An entry form provided by WWABFM is included in this packet. If you would like further information regarding WWABFM, contact WWABFM Event Chair, Arnie Taub at 425-644-7874 or ataub@worldnet.att.net.

Included with this letter are entry forms for the Northwestern Spit-Together and All British Field Meet. Also included are a NWST Schedule of Events and Lodging Information. I hope that we can see you in Bellevue in July.
